Qooling processes your personal safety, secure and carefully. Your trust in our company is one of the core values we hold. That is why we do whatever we can to protect your data. The rules and regulations regarding your privacy are described in the GDPR. Qooling operates according to this law to make sure your information is secure.

Who is the privacy controller?
Qooling based in The Hague is the processor of your personal data. We don’t have a dedicated privacy officer due to the size of the company and the very limited sensitive data we process.

Personal data is every piece of information that can be traced back to a single person. Some examples are name, address, phone number, and bank account, but also pictures and biomedical data.
Are you obliged to share your personal data?
Most of the time we require a limited amount of personal information in order for you to make use of our solution. Some information is required for us to provide you access to the platform. In this case you are required to share this personal detail in order to follow the rules of the law.

Qooling doesn’t share you information with any other company if this is not agreed upon by you or obliged by law. Qooling has the goal to make sure that all your information is processed within the EU. This allows us to make sure we are compliant to the GDPR.
How is the data protected?
The safety of your personal information is of great concern to Qooling. That is why we have implemented a wide range of technical and organizational measures to make sure your data is safe. We make sure that in any case your information is stored with a different organization, and that we keep these companies to the same standards.
How long do we store the data?
We store your data no longer than needed in order to fulfill the goals of this policy.
Your rights
Qooling finds it important that you can effortlessly exercise the rights you have according to the law. That is why it is very easy for you to contact us via our contact page.
You can exercise the follow rights:
- You have the right to ask what kind of data we have of yours.
- You have the right to request a correction of your data.
- You have the right to request the deletion of your data in case the data isn’t required any more. There are some exceptions when the law clearly stipulates that we need to store the data for a certain time period.
- You have the right to ask for a restriction on the processing of your data. You can ask for this restriction when we are in the processes of assessing whether your data needs to be rectified, when we are checking if your data has been used unrightfully or when you have objected against the processing of your data all together.
- You have the right to export your data or request us to provide you with a machine readable copy of your data.
- You have the right to appeal against the data we process.

Our core value is making our customers happy. We do whatever it takes to make you happy, and sometimes this can go wrong. When you have such an experience you can always contact us.
